My mother, 85, went into the hospital a year ago for observation from a fall with nothing wrong. She caught C. Difficile, had a central line put in and her lung collapsed. For three weeks she had a chest tube in, was never turned, and laid in bowel movement for hours at a time on a flat bed mattress. She developed stage four bed sores, became infected with: VRE, MRSA, Pseudomonas & Sepsis, and as a result developed Osteomylitis.
She is still in the hospital in ICU from the Pseudomonas infection that is now in her lungs, and is on a ventilator.
There was a lot of negligence involved which resulted in my mothers conditions which are now killing her. I would like to know if i have a case here.
