My mother, 75, had surgery for lung cancer (completely removed and no mestastisis), a minor cardiac infarction, resulting in a successful angioplasty. Three days after these she suddenly was dead of an "infection". Very vague. The bacteria was "PSEUDOMONAS". she was in ICU, entubated, on IVs and heavily sedated on morphine. I want to sue for wrongful death because of this infection. Is this case worth pursuing?
